What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for sharing and distributing Web content. Using an RSS reader, you can view data feeds from various news sources.
How do I access RSS?
RSS Aggregators (also called Readers) will download and display RSS feeds for you. A number of free and commercial aggregators are available for download. We suggest Feedreader if you are interested in a free RSS Aggregator.
Most aggregators are separate, "stand-alone" programs while other services will let you add RSS feeds to a Web page. Yahoo! users can add RSS feeds to their My Yahoo! page. Many web browsers also include an RSS reader as part of the browser.
Another way many people use RSS feeds is by incorporating content into weblogs, or "blogs". Blogs are web pages comprised of usually short, frequently updated items and web links. You are welcome to use any of the Faith Ministries feeds in your blogs, based on our terms of service below.
To view one of the ministry feeds in your RSS Aggregator:
1. Copy the URL/shortcut that corresponds to the ministry that interests you.
2. Paste the URL into your reader.
TERMS OF USE
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) service is a means by which Faith Ministries offers feeds of stories in XML format ("RSS Content") to the visitors of the Faith Ministries sites who use RSS aggregators. These Terms of Use govern your use of the RSS service. These Terms of Use may be changed by Faith Ministries at any time without notice.
Use of RSS Feeds:
RSS is a free service offered by Faith Ministries for non-commercial use. Any other uses, including without limitation the incorporation of advertising into or the placement of advertising associated with or targeted towards the RSS Content, are strictly prohibited. You must use the RSS feeds as provided by Faith Ministries, and you may not edit or modify the text, content or links supplied by Faith Ministries. The RSS service may be used only with those platforms from which a functional link is made available that, when accessed, takes the viewer directly to the display of the full article on the Faith Ministries sites. You may not display the RSS Content in a manner that does not permit successful linking to, redirection to or delivery of the applicable Faith Ministries web page. You may not insert any intermediate page, splash page or other content between the RSS link and the applicable Faith Ministries web page.
Ownership/Attribution:
Faith Ministries retains all ownership and other rights in the RSS Content, and any and all Faith Ministries logos and trademarks used in connection with the RSS Service. You must provide attribution to the appropriate Faith Ministries website in connection with your use of the RSS feeds. If you provide this attribution using a graphic, you must use the appropriate Faith Ministries website's logo that we have incorporated into the RSS feed.
Right to Discontinue Feeds:
Faith Ministries reserves the right to discontinue providing any or all of the RSS feeds at any time and to require you to cease displaying, distributing or otherwise using any or all of the RSS feeds for any reason including, without limitation, your violation of any provision of these Terms of Use. Faith Ministries assumes no liability for any of your activities in connection with the RSS feeds or for your use of the RSS feeds in connection with your website.
