The goal in Sr. high drama is to broaden the student's understanding of acting and character development for use in Christian ministry.
The content varies from year to year depending on the number of students in the class and the male/female ratio. Generally, the projects follow this tentative outline:
1st quarter--Acting scenes and cooperative learning projects
2nd quarter--Creating characters and designing set for school play
3rd quarter--Choric speaking for Sr. High FABA
4th quarter--Assigned character acting and improvisation
These are interspersed with studying the basic plots of about fifteen Shakespeare plays. The students also memorize quotes from these plays.
COMPETITION--Faith Christian School participates in the Indian Association of Christian Schools' Fine Arts competition.
