Advocate Program
 

Once selected to receive a Habitat for Humanity home families work with an advocate who coaches them through this transition.

Habitat for Humanity Advocates provide support and assistance to families who have been accepted into the Habitat program. Position will provide or organize spiritual, logistical, nurturing and general support to prepare the families for homeownership. Additionally, the advocate will build relationships with families who have been accepted.  Faith Community Ministries in conjunction with Faith Biblical Counseling Ministries will help train advocates to serve in this capacity.  Persons interested should contact Adam Murphy at Habitat for Humanity at adam@lafayettehabitat.org or call 765-423-4590 ext. 202.
