Summer and Winter Course Offering Schedule

MABC courses will be offered every summer and winter semester. Since different courses will be offered during the two semesters, students can make fast progress on the degree. At the same time, the course offerings provide students a wide variety of choices to accommodate their schedules. It is best to plan your entire program from the beginning in order to accomplish your degree as quickly as possible and to ensure that course offerings and your proposed schedule match.

Summer Semester: Each summer there will be both online and module classes offered. Syllabi for the summer will be available in the middle of April.  Course work will begin early in May for both online courses, as well as courses that require the week of residency classes. Internal residency weeks will occur in late June and early July. Each summer course will end approximately September 15. It should be noted that the professor for each course will be given some level of flexibility in his or her course schedule. Please see the syllabi for details regarding your course requirements.

Winter Semester: Each winter there will be both online and module courses offered. Syllabi for the winter courses will be available November 1 with course work beginning in mid-November, allowing for 2 holiday weeks off.  The internal residency weeks will occur in mid-January, and the semester will conclude around the end of March. As always, professors have some flexibility regarding the dates and assignments for the particular courses taught.

Sample Class Schedule

Each module course will have approximately 31 hours of instruction for each internal residency. While the professor of the course will ultimately set the schedule, a sample residency week would be as follows:

Monday 1:00p – 5:00p

Tuesday 8:00a – 5:00p

Wednesday 8:00a– 5:00p

Thursday 8:00a – 5:00p

Friday 8:00a – 11:00a

2010-2011 MABC Course Schedule

Syllabi will be posted on the FBS ELearning Program.  A student will receive a username and password to the online program once the student has registered for the course(s).
